Petersham Cat Enclosure Clean Up

This side porch in a Petersham house was in need of a cleaning. The deck, exacerbated by organic waste, was the perfect medium for mold and algae growth. Not only is this unsightly, as evidenced by the before photo, but is slippery and can lead to an individual falling and suffering injuries. A SERVPRO of Worcester technician power washed the wooden deck using our special cleaning agents to remove the unwanted growths and dirt. The next step was to spray an antimicrobial product upon the wetted surface. After several days of drying and reaching acceptable moisture levels, the planks were again sprayed, this time with a waterproofing coating.
